Fairmount Ave Arts crawl

May 21st, 2023
Fairmount Ave. & Surrounding Blocks
12 pm- 4 pm

The Fairmount Avenue Arts Crawl is a free annual, indoor/outdoor festival for art lovers of all mediums, which transforms the Art Museum Area of Philadelphia into an eclectic showcase of local artists and performers in its streets, restaurants, businesses, shops and bars. The event features emerging and ground-breaking artists in a range of media including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed-media. The festival includes more than 40 exhibits in all! Children and families participate in craft-making activities, face painting, sidewalk chalk art and other entertainment. Each year the event attracts over 4,000 visitors to the Art Museum Area neighborhoods of Philadelphia.

to participate

Are you an artist who wants to show work in a pop-up gallery? A vendor who wants to sell hand-crafted arts along Fairmount Avenue? A supporter who wants to align their brand / message with an established arts festival / vibrant community? Learn more about each opportunity below.

Store Front Hosts

Store front hosts are businesses or other physical locations in the Art Museum Area that wish to host an artist or program. They are listed on the "crawl" map with a description of their hosted artist / program. It is $50 (for GAMBA members) or $150 (non-members) to be an official venue.

Artists

Artists show inside alternative venues (like restaurants, offices and retailers). Artists are listed in our "crawl" map next to their host venue. We're excited to continue in 2023, a NO FEE policy for artists to show their work (except for a $50 refundable deposit). All artists are juried and will be notified by late April if selected; the deadline to apply is April 14.

Craft Vendors

Interested in selling your products at the 2023 Arts Crawl? Accepted vendors will be assigned a 10'x10' location along Fairmount Avenue (near Eastern State Penitentiary) and one 6’ table. Vendors should offer unique, hand-made products that highlight Philadelphia's diversity and creativity. After completing the linked registration form, you will receive additional information for the $100 fee if selected. Sorry, the jury will not consider any food trucks or stands serving food prepared at the event. The deadline to apply is April 14.

Sponsor

Sponsors make the event possible. From on-site promotion to advance recognition in multiple forms, consider aligning your brand, mission or message with an established arts festival in one of Philadelphia's most dynamic neighborhoods.
