Welcome Julia Marchetti, Business Services Manager

Julia Marchetti has joined Fairmount CDC to strengthen and grow local business support by managing the Greater Art Museum Business Association (GAMBA). Julia is passionate about equitable development and climate justice at the neighborhood scale, recognizing communities as interconnected social, cultural, economic, and environmental ecosystems. Previously, Julia has worked with PennPraxis, The San Francisco Legacy Business Program, Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation, The American Planning Association, The National Park Service, and Fairmount Park Conservancy. Julia holds masters’ degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in City and Regional Planning and Historic Preservation. Julia enjoys Philadelphia’s many parks, donut shops, and music venues.

Stones Beer & Beverage Market is (temporarily) moving!

Stone's Beer & Beverage Market is temporarily moving from 1701 Fairmount Avenue to the Poth Brewery at 3145 W. Jefferson Street in Brewerytown! Their location in Fairmount is being demolished and rebuilt as a new beer store with apartments above.

Stone's has been in our community since 1955 and will be returning to 1701 Fairmount Avenue by 2024, after their new building is built. Until then, they would love your support at their temporary location in Brewerytown, or simply order delivery through their website.

For info and progress updates follow them @stonesphilly or at www.stonesphilly.com.
