April Community Digest

Happy cherry blossom season! We're celebrating new business openings, new board members, and the 10 neighborhood entrepreneurs who started our latest PhillyiHub class last night. Spring showers mean our clean up event on Girard Avenue has been delayed until April 8, but the good news is you can still sign up to join. Visit fairmountcdc.org/events for more on clean ups, Second Saturday, Girard Street Festival, and Fairmount Arts Crawl, and make sure you follow us on Instagram for daily updates from across the Art Museum District.

There are two grand openings in the neighborhood tomorrow - UPIC Self-Portrait Studio on Girard and The UPS Store on Fairmount - plus Corner Stoop, Vento, Fairmount Tavern, and Brewerytown Food Hall opened earlier in March! Our work supporting businesses across the neighborhood is made possible by memberships in GAMBA, and the leadership of our board. We are fortunate to have four new board members join recently: Erin Roark, Danny Hosein, Koko Williamson, and Patrick Griffin. Email Patrick, our Executive Director, for more on getting involved this spring.

Save the Date!

Save the date for Second Saturday on Girard Avenue: April 8th! Stay tuned for a full lineup of activities coming soon!
