Fairmount CDC has put together a COVID-19 Business Relief Fund to support our local businesses who are suffering from the immediate effects of COVID-19. We are asking neighbors and people who support local business to contribute any amount possible; there is nothing too big or too small, and it is fully tax deductible.
A family foundation will donate $5000 in matching grant funds to the Business Relief Fund.
Some examples of what your contribution might help cover:
-Utility bills or rent
-Tips for hourly staff
-Cover other fixed costs
All funding requests will be reviewed by a committee who will ensure equitable funding across those requests. As money comes in, we will allocate it once a week to businesses based need. We are hoping that, with enough support, we will be able to alleviate some of the burden for as many business owners as possible.
