1.) Lather Hair Studio is a full-service hair salon and skin care studio specializing in all hair: coloring, personalized haircuts for the entire family, skin care and waxing. We love our Brewerytown community and love to bring beauty to our neighborhood.
2.) Lather has been in business on West Girard Avenue for 5 years. Through the support of our loyal clients, we have grown from a 3 person team to a staff of 9 and were able to open a brand new space on the corner of 28th and Girard. We are very happy to have this inspiring new space to call our home.
3.) One of our favorite things to do is bring our community together, and we host a few different events throughout the year to inspire our clients and community. On every Second Saturday we feature a different visual artist on display at the studio, and also host a reception for each artist from 8-10 pm. Dena Epstein and Abbey Dernoga, co-owners of Lather Hair Studio have lived and worked in the Greater Art Museum Area for the last 10 years. They decided to open Lather as a hub for creative professionals to express themselves through doing hair. The salon specializes in the latest techniques and trends. Lifelong learning and mastery of our craft is one of Lather’s strongest values. Adding skin care, waxing and lash services round out their holistic approach to looking your best!
