We're thrilled to be highlighting Greater Art Museum Business Alliance Member,
Rybread, this week!
About Us
The opportunity to travel arose with the loss of Ryan’s job in the architecture industry. As the reality of unemployment sunk in and the realization that he had NOTHING holding him back, Ryan and his girlfriend Steph decided to take a road trip. Considering the situation, the road trip naturally deemed itself an ‘unemployment opportunity’, leading them across the country through 20+ states over 7 weeks. While visiting numerous cities and tasting the local cuisines, they became inspired! Alas, they got the idea to start a restaurant centered around their cross country journey! Now, 11 years later, we are a staple to the Art Museum District!
What Makes Us Stand Out
Rybread is a sandwich cafe that has been located in Fairmount for 11 years. We were formally located at 23rd street, before relocating to our beautiful bright new storefront at 17th street. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner & offer catering, take-out and seating outside! We hope to see you the next time you are in the neighborhood!
Our Current Customer Favorites
We have a diverse menu & all items are named after locations on the road trip! We have a variety of yummy pastries, and everything we sell is made from scratch, in-house!
Why We Love Working in the Art Museum District
The sense of community! We love connecting with our customers, from our daily regulars, to our new comers! We feel like family here!
Tune in to the @FairmountCDC Instagram on Thursday, April 29th when Rybrew takes over and celebrates their 11th Anniversary!
