This Monday, January 16, Girard College is the center for Philadelphia's 28th Martin Luther King Day of Service - there's more on all the events on their website, you can reserve tickets for The Philadelphia Orchestra's Tribute Concert, and Eastern State Penitentiary has free activities all-day as well listed here.

In neighborhood business news this month, NBC10 visited Libertee Grounds for a round of mini-golf, food and drinks, Rybrew is planning a move down the block for a new space on Girard Avenue and Tita Emmie's will be moving in to their former space! Coffee Cream & Dreams celebrated their grand reopening at their new location - 1436 Fairmount Avenue - and Lumos Yoga & Barre has opened a second studio at 2329 Parrish Street, allowing for more private classes and personal training to complement their Green Street location.
