Dear Neighbors,

We value our relationship with each one of you and want to keep you in the know about our plans. We have some important and exciting news to share with you regarding the Fairmount CDC and what we have planned as spring blooms and our world opens again after more than a year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Following the remarkably successful and sold-out print of our Taste of Fairmount book, we kick off our Fairmount Scavenger Hunt on April 25th to benefit the Fairmount Civic Association and our COVID-19 Business Relief Fund. Click here to find out more information and how you can get involved!

  • We are proud to let you know that Jordan Rogers, who has worked so closely with our businesses developing our Fairmount CDC programs over the years as our business services manager, is joining Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s U.S. Senate campaign. Jordan’s last day with the Fairmount CDC is Saturday, April 17th. This is a dream-come-true opportunity for Jordan and we encourage all of you to reach out and send your congratulations. As Jordan departs, a new opportunity opens within the Fairmount CDC, and we are actively pursuing Jordan’s replacement.

  • Sarajane Blair, who has served as the Executive Director of our Fairmount CDC for nearly three years, is moving on as well. She will share more information about her upcoming role as it gets closer to her departure date of May 14th.

We wish Jordan and Sarajane the best of luck and will continue to work closely with them as we continuously share creativity and energy to advance progress in our districts.

The Fairmount CDC board is committed to the stability and growth of the organization and all those we support. In that vein, Fairmount CDC Board President, Heidi Siegel, will step in as the Acting Executive Director and she looks forward to hearing from you and collaborating with you until we fill Sarajane’s role on a full-time basis. You are encouraged to reach out to Heidi at hsiegel@fairmountcdc.org. Please continue to contact us at (215) 232-4766 or email Sarajane at sblair@fairmountcdc.org.

We look forward to continuing to support our neighbors and businesses as we bounce back in 2021 and work to build a better Art Museum District.

Sincerely,

The Board of Fairmount CDC
