About Us
I'm Nick, Owner/Operator at Stone's Beer & Beverage Market. I, like every other small business owner in our neighborhood, wear a wide-variety of entrepreneurial hats in the day-to-day management and long-term strategy of Stone's. Most importantly though, is my role as a leader of our incredible team members at the store. I'm so very honored and excited to work with such talented, dedicated, and cool people who care deeply about our community, customers, and each other.
What Makes Us Stand Out
Stone's is one of the longest standing businesses on Fairmount Ave - proudly serving our community since 1955. Since purchasing the store in the Spring of 2019 we have completely transformed Stone's to be a more friendly, welcoming, modern, and well-run business. All of our inventory (including beautiful product photos) is available on our website - incredibly rare for a beer store in Philly. We offer speedy door-to-door city-wide delivery, special order placement, and competitive wholesale pricing. We're also deeply rooted in our surrounding neighborhoods. Ninety percent of our staff living within .5 miles of the store, we donate our time and money to local non-profits, and we've been working to beautify our store with a variety of murals and other art work on our building. We feel grateful for the support of our neighbors and look forward to serving the community for years to come!
Our Current Offerings
We always have a variety of in-store and online sales happening at Stone's. This week we're running a one-day Flash Sale where everything in the entire store is discounted! We also have a Yuengling Fire Pit raffle coming up this week!
Why We Love Working in the Art Museum District
We absolutely love our location and are truly honored to do business in the Greater Art Museum Area. We're frequently hearing from patrons about how much they enjoy the changes we've made at Stone's (super-fun to hear that feedback). We were lucky enough to play a major role in the Night Market back in 2019, hosted large beer tasting events before Covid hit, received over 50 new 5-star online reviews, and have had the opportunity to collaborate with awesome local businesses here in the neighborhood. The community has supported us tremendously during the pandemic and we're so grateful for the continued love of our family-owned small business!
