About Thirsty Dice Board Game Cafe
Thirsty Dice is Philadelphia’s original board game café. Located in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, Thirsty Dice boasts over 800 games to choose from, from Dungeons and Dragons to Monopoly, guaranteeing there is always something for everyone to play. Thirsty Dice has a full bar program and fun comfort foods to enjoy during your game play. As Thirsty Dice moves toward the future, they are expanding their partnership with Bassett's Ice Cream to form the Thirsty Dice Scoop Shop and Cafe, opening in early July. A place for the Fairmount and surrounding neighborhoods to come and enjoy a waffle cone, specialty milkshake, latte or even a specialty iced tea. Alongside a boardwalk themed to-go food program, Thirsty Dice is innovating during these new times.
How the COVID-19 Business Relief Fund Will Help
This really helps us move forward with our efforts in the next month to provide a scoop shop and cafe for the Fairmount community. In partnering with Bassett's Ice Cream, Thirsty Dice will become a new place for the neighborhood to enjoy coffee drinks, milkshakes, and scoops of delicious Philadelphia-made ice cream. We're hoping to be open before the end of June. Fairmount has been so welcoming of Thirsty Dice since we've opened and have never stopped. We love being a part of a great community of businesses, entrepreneurs, families, and destinations. We would not be Thirsty Dice then or now without this great community.
